Next Field International Explores Ancient Bukhara for Filming Opportunities
Next Field International, a prominent production company, recently concluded a visit to the ancient city of Bukhara, exploring its unique potential as a backdrop for television and cinema. The city, renowned for its remarkably preserved Old City, is being hailed as a "ready-made" location for film shoots due to its magnificent, unique, and vibrant atmosphere.
Executive Producers Robert Mora and Nikita Makarenko, accompanied by CEO Stanislav Solovkin, toured some of Bukhara's most iconic sites, including the Lyabi Khovuz complex, the historic Trade Domes, the Poi Kalyan ensemble, and the majestic Ark Fortress.
During their visit, Next Field International representatives also held a productive meeting with Mr. Furqat Siddikov, Ambassador of Uzbekistan to the United States. Mr. Mora and Ambassador Siddikov discussed potential ideas for high-level documentaries, including sports documentaries, that could appeal to an American audience. Ambassador Siddikov expressed strong interest in assisting Next Field International with these projects, emphasizing the importance of promoting Uzbekistan to American viewers.
The delegation further met with Mr. Jalol Arashov, Deputy Governor of Bukhara Region. Mr. Mora commended Bukhara's distinctive ambiance, and both parties agreed to continue their collaboration to attract more foreign television productions to the region.
The visit was made possible with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and the Tourism Committee of Uzbekistan.
